Air Fryer Meatloaf

Meatloaf cooked in an air fryer is incredibly juicy, takes less time to prepare, and requires minimal cleanup.

This meatloaf has a flavourful, zesty topping that is covered with a blend of meat and herbs!

Ingredients For Air Fryer Meatloaf

  1. One pound of lean ground beef
  2. One finely diced green bell pepper
  3. One-third cup of seasoned bread crumbs
  4. ¼ cup finely sliced onion(refer to the note)
  5. Two tablespoons milk
  6. Two tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  7. One tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  8. One minced clove of garlic
  9. one egg yolk
  10. One-fourth of a teaspoon of Italian spice
  11. One-fourth of a teaspoon salt and pepper to taste

For Topping:

  1. ¼ cup of chilli Sauce
  2. 1/4 cup of  tomato sauce

Instructions  For Air Fryer Meatloaf

  1. Fry the onion in 1 tablespoon butter until cooked for a softer onion flavour. Let cool fully before incorporating.
  2. Mix the meat just until incorporated; do not overmix.
  3. Before you add the meatloaf, preheat the air fryer.
  4. Make sure you use an instant read thermometer to check the internal temperature of the meatloaf and make sure it reaches 165° F. Air fryers can vary in this regard.
  5. To make sure the meatloaf doesn’t overcook, check it early. As needed, extend the duration.
  6. Before slicing, give the meatloaf a rest to prevent it from crumbling.
