French Onion French Dip Garlic Cheesy Bread
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- 1/2 cup shredded Italian blend cheese
- 3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 loaf French bread
- Sliced roast beef
- Slices of Swiss cheese
- Au Jus, for dipping
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, softened butter, shredded Italian blend cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, onion soup mix, and pepper.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and spread the prepared mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Arrange the sliced roast beef over the spread mixture and top with slices of Swiss cheese. Sprinkle with additional pepper if desired.
- Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve with a side of Au Jus for dipping.
