Honey Butter Skillet Corn
Frozen corn, honey, butter, and cream cheese blend harmoniously in this swift and straightforward 15-minute side dish: Honey Butter Skillet Corn. Exceptionally delicious, it offers a creamy and sweet accompaniment.
Butter and Honey Skillet Corn
Residing in the Midwest, we relish the summer abundance of fresh corn from local farmers, sold at quaint roadside stands. The corn is both bountiful and delectable.
This one-pan dish is ideal for weeknights (or any night), being both simple and universally adored!
Ingredients:
- Butter, 2 tablespoons (I prefer salted for my recipes)
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 1 16 oz. bag of frozen corn
- 2 ounces of cream cheese, cut into chunks
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- Slightly less than 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Honey Butter Skillet Corn Recipe Instructions:
- In a skillet, melt the honey and butter over medium-high heat. Once the butter has melted, cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 8 minutes, or until the corn is tender.
- Add the cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together to combine. Continue cooking, stirring regularly, for about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Serve immediately. Leftovers can be stored in a sealed container and will remain fresh for several days when refrigerated.
Though the nutritional information is based on six portions of this side dish, it can easily yield eight servings if you’re feeding small children.
Any variety of frozen corn can be used, but my preference is for gold and white corn. Ensure it is a 16-ounce (1 pound) bag of frozen corn.
Weight Watchers Points:
