Steak and Eggs with Hash Browns 😋 Serve the steak alongside the eggs and a portion of crispy hash browns for a hearty and satisfying breakfast. Enjoy your meal!
Ingredients:
- – 1 beef steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice of cut)
- – 2 large eggs
- – 2 large potatoes
- – Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- – Cooking oil or butter
Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, and other preferred steak seasonings
Instructions:
1. Steak:
Let the steak come to room temperature by taking it out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking.
Season the steak with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings you like.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a bit of oil.
Cook the steak to your desired doneness, approximately 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, depending on the thickness of the steak.
– Remove from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes.
2. Eggs:
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.
Add a little more oil or butter if needed.
Crack the eggs into the pan and cook to your liking: sunny-side up, over-easy, or scrambled.
3. Hash Browns:
Grate the potatoes and rinse in cold water, then squeeze out as much moisture as possible using a clean towel.
Heat a large skillet with oil or butter over medium-high heat.
Add the grated potatoes, flattening them into a pancake shape. Cook until the bottom is golden brown and crispy, about 5-6 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
Season with salt and pepper, and additional garlic or onion powder if desired.
Serve the steak alongside the eggs and a portion of crispy hash browns for a hearty and satisfying breakfast. Enjoy your meal!
