AIR FRYER CALZONES + HOMEMADE CALZONE DOUGH RECIPE! WW Friendly
I must say, I absolutely adore my air fryer! All those dishes you thought would be forbidden when adopting a healthier lifestyle don’t have to be! These air fryer calzones will undoubtedly become your new favorite meal.

For your convenience, you can either use store-bought dough or prepare the calzone dough using this recipe, which I personally recommend! Opting for homemade dough instead of store-bought significantly reduces the overall points, which is always advantageous.

I hope you find these air fryer calzones as delightful as I do! Serve them with 0 Point Ranch or marinara sauce for dipping! Each calzone is 4 Smart Points, and this recipe yields 4 calzones.

  • 10 sprays of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 3 cups baby spinach leaves
  • 1/3 cup lower-sodium marinara sauce
  • 1/3 cup shredded rotisserie chicken or cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 batch of 2-ingredient dough
  • 1 1/2 ounces (6 tablespoons) shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese

You can incorporate more vegetables or replace the chicken with lean ground turkey if desired.

In a medium pan over medium-high heat, add the onion and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender.

Add the spinach; cover and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.

Remove the pan from heat and stir in the marinara sauce and chicken.

Using the calzone dough recipe or 2-ingredient dough, knead and roll it on a floured surface.

Divide the dough into 4 pieces. Use a cookie cutter if necessary.

Place a quarter of the spinach mixture and a quarter of the mozzarella cheese on one half of each dough piece.
