Air Fryer Juicy Steak Bites

Air Fryer Juicy Steak Bites

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1½-inch by 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • 1½ tsp soy sauce

Instructions:

  1. Cut the steak into 1½-inch by 1-inch pieces.
  2. Whisk together oil, pepper, salt, and soy sauce in a bowl.
  3. Add the steak to the bowl and toss together with the sauce until coated evenly.
  4. Preheat the air fryer.
  5. Cook the steak in the air fryer at 400°F for 7-12 minutes. 7 minutes will result in a more rare steak, while 12 minutes will result in medium-well.
  6. Serve as the main dish along with steamed rice, vegetables, or noodles.

Flavor Variations:

  • Onions: Add cut-up white or yellow onions to the bowl of sauce before cooking.
  • Mushrooms: Coat mushrooms in the sauce with a little more oil and air fry them along with the steak pieces.
  • Spices: Experiment with garlic, ginger, paprika, cumin, coriander, chili powder, lemon juice, and toasted sesame seeds.
  • Sauces: Serve with chimichurri sauce, hummus, tzatziki sauce, A1 sauce, barbecue sauce, mustard cream, butter garlic sauce, steak Diane sauce, Worcestershire sauce, or Cajun butter sauce.
  • Cheese: Add blue cheese crumbles to the steak after cooking to allow them to slightly melt into the meat.
  • Butter: Toss the air fryer steak in a bowl with butter after cooking for added moisture and flavor.
  • Garlic: Add minced garlic to the sauce for marinating, or toss it with melted butter to serve over the beef while plating.

Additional Notes on Cook Times:

  • Adjust cook times for desired doneness. Lower heat for 6-8 minutes for a more rare to medium result.
