Crock Pot Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken Thighs

Crock Pot Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken Thighs

Ingredients:

8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
4 tablespoons of butter
1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup of chicken broth
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to your liking
Finely chopped fresh parsley, for garnishing

Directions:

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, chicken broth, minced garlic, oregano, and thyme. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally until the garlic emits its aromatic fragrance.
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then place them in the crock pot.
Drizzle the lemon garlic butter sauce over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
Cover the crock pot and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours until the chicken reaches a tender, cooked-through state.
Once cooked, transfer the chicken from the crock pot to a serving dish. Spoon some of the lemon garlic butter sauce over the chicken and garnish with chopped parsley.
Serve while hot and relish every bite!
Note: For added flavor and visual appeal, consider adding sliced lemon and fresh herbs to the crock pot before cooking.
