Crispy Smashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1-1.5 lbs baby potatoes, cleaned
- 3-4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Water or broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large pot, bring water or broth to a boil. Add the baby potatoes and cook until they are tender and can be easily pierced with a fork, about 10 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and transfer them to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Using a flat-bottomed glass, gently press down on each potato to slightly flatten them without breaking them apart.
